Yip Yip!

I recently was reminded by another blogger (I can't remember who it was sadly) about the Yip Yip Martians from Sesame Street. They are so funny. So I watched a few and found this one to be very cute. It is only a few minutes long and so funny when they start dancing to the music they like.

My First Card Swap

Yippy! I received my first creative bloggin' exchange today.

I love looking at Flora's blog and when I saw she had a couple printed cards she wanted to swap I jumped right in. It was the cutest card and I was excited we were going to do an exchange. She wrote to me and said she sent it Saturday, and I got it today..Monday! Talk about speedy "snail mail"! From Kansas to Oregon in two days? So I was very happy to see it already got here. I mailed her card out today. I hope she likes it.

Wall Clips for Kids or Kelly!

I got some fun wall clips this weekend from Land of Nod. I have been wanting them for a few months. I finally decided I would order them, telling myself "so what if they are meant for kids, they will be so fun in my studio!". I had a hard time picking out of the 3 designs (birds, flowers, stars). I almost went with the stars, and then got the flowers instead. They are pretty inexpensive and a nice touch to any kid OR adults room. I also did mine slightly different then they do, I had a shorter wall for one, so the string hangs a bit more, but I like it. The flower one (not photographed) is done like they do them.
