Anytime I see one
... it makes me happy anytime. The simple and beautiful daisy flower. On our walks lately I have carried my camera for future project reference - this is one of the extras. :)
I haven't had much time to draw and work on my computer at home. It's been busy the last few weeks and then a few lazy days. But lots of walking, bike riding and getting fit - so hard to get it all done sometimes.
Keep checking back, I've got some great things brewing, just finding the time is the trick.

It's about time!
Well I have been meaning to put something up in this window to give us a bit of privacy. I had the hardest time deciding exactly what I wanted there. I didn't want something to block out the light completely, but I wanted whatever material to obscure the view. So when I was at the fabric store this weekend I was toying around with burlap for curtains in the bedroom, but decided it would be perfect for this window. I'm very happy with it. Yaya, privacy! (not that we get many visitors - such loners!) Tweet Follow @kellymedina

MP3 Zen Case
I have been taking a small break from drawing (on the computer) the last week. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with a crazy work schedule and the awful heat - I'm such a wuss when it comes to hot weather. So to lighten up a bit I'm just kicking back for a week and getting outside when the weather cools down. It's been nice.
I thought I would post something I made a few weeks back for my Zen player. I gave my self a real doozie of a headache hammering the snaps in. Ha! But I was very pleased with how it turned out.
The velcro strap's dual purpose is to hold the USB wire (for easy download/uploading) and keep the Zen tucked away in its fold. The other side holds the additional attachment for the Zen. I added some stuffing between the felt and fabric to really give it some cushioning (I broke my last one, due to a crappy case that did nothing for protection). It folds in half, snaps and fits perfectly in my bag!
