Day 6 of 21

I was lacking inspiration when I started to work on my drawings. I looked around my desk and decided I would use something on my desk to create the shape and then build from that. I used a travel size Purell Bottle for the body shape on this one. I liked it and definitely helped me have a starting point for tonight.

This was the first drawing that came in the start of my free drawing. I need to practice on drawing larger at some point. This drawing is about 4" x 4" - I try and draw larger but then usually go right back to small.

Hi Kelly. Sorry it's been so long! Nice to see you sketching! It's a really expressive way to explore ideas!

Great idea! I'm going to try that. Reminds me of a game my nephew and I used to play. We would each take a turn doing a random scribble. Then the other person would turn the scribble into a drawing. It's great fun and amazing the things that come out of it.

These drawings are as cute as the dickens.

Neat idea to use an everyday object as a starting point. I imagine you could come up with some pretty interesting characters that way!
