My latest focus has been learning about shade-loving plants so that we can get a nice privacy shrub line going between us and the "ugh" neighbors. This morning I went out and took photos to send to my dad (gardener extraordinaire) so he can give some suggestions on how to do that properly and have organization to it all. I have no idea about all the details for planting, pruning, retaining, etc. My dad offered and I am jumping at the chance to get some help.
While I was outside today I saw a few things that really make me happy...
These sweet white blooms on a new Rhododendron that we planted along our driveway last year.
And these little buds on surrounding trees. When they grow in they make all the neighbors disappear! Magical :)I've not been feeling too inspired in the realm of illustrating but hopefully soon.
