I have been trying to find some dark, spooky trees to photo and submit to Salix's
Windywillow for November's
Festival of Trees. Chris reminded me last night of this photo. It was taken while hiking Spencer's Butte near the top - we basically climbed inside a cloud. We loved it! Anyways, it turned out to be a nice shot.
I am going to get this printed and framed. I need some artwork on my walls - for a designer I have minimal home decor going on - shame on me!

This is absolutely amazing!
Stunningly haunting!
OoooOOoooo....this is a spooky image... very nice, Kelly!
I know what you mean. I used to not have a lot of stuff on my wall (and so are my designer friends), but now I don't care anymore. I put a lot of artworks that I like on the wall because they make me happy... as for nail holes, I can always patch them later! :)
This is pure magic! Wow - it's so emotive! It's funny how as artists we don't put our own work on the walls. My husband doesn't get this either - he's always encouraging me to frame stuff that I do. This photo is a must for your walls!!
This is such a beautiful picture. The quietness of it is awesome. You have a lot of beautiful stuff here on your blog:)
Wonderful evocative picture!
Kelly,
This tree photo is superb.
